I'm doing a birthday present and need your opinion. I have made a colour draft version of this drawing & am working on the B&W draft. Here is the colour version [link] (or you can have a look on my home page & see the two side by side.)
Tell me should I do the final in B&W or colour?? I have made this a bit of both (the sky is blue)
8/5/9 The birthday party is on this weekend & I have to finish this little puppy off. I asked my wife if she wanted colour or B&W (Yep I let the cat out of the bag )
She said B&W dog, but colour basket, sky, and his eye. So Here is the actual drawing a few days from completion.
The B&W look best, even though I love colours I know the feeling of not getting the colours work; I’ve been playing with colours since I could hold a pencil, but less than two years of work made the gray fur look much better It’s going to be a great gift no matter what you choose, most people I know would love something the giver has put their soul in to

- Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else. - Margaret Mead. - There is no feeling more wonderful than being owned by a cat.
Thanks for the vote. I'm more skilled with the carbon than the colour at the moment, but I'd kind of feel like I was not progressing if I did the B&W. We shall see.
